This masterclass was nothing at all what was promised. For over seven months now her “IT guy” has been “building” her membership site. So everything she was supposed to “teach” had been haphazardly delivered via facebook live. Why couldn’t she have uploaded the stuff directly to the FB group if she really did create the content?

Her fb lives were often rescheduled because of conflicts in her personal life. Or, because she had a date. The first ten minutes of her lives consisted of her talking baby talk to her cat, Luna.

I’m not the only person who is upset about what an absolute waste of time and money this was – so many disgruntled people in the group complained and then were banished. Those banishments were rapidly followed by emotional, “I’m protecting my space” FB lives.

Maybe this very, very woo-woo hippy party might be your scene if you are looking to just circle jerk each other, but if you’re looking to actually get anything done and write your book – look elsewhere.

There’s a reason B-School is so well known, it’s beautifully designed, the content is really thorough and the engagement is amazing.

Each module contains several video lessons and several interactive workbooks to compliments the module content. The guest expert bonuses are brilliant, and are from some of the top names in the industry. All the content is taught in a very simple and relatable way. There’s a good mix of things to learn and things to take action on within each module.

I had a really good experience with the course and don’t regret buying it at all, but I do have some words of advice for those thinking about it. B-School gives and incredible foundation for business. It covers the whole landscape and teaches you some really priceless lessons on all the different pieces of the puzzle that make up a successful business.

However, whilst it does give you lots of practical implementations for the content, I think it’s more beneficial for people who have been in business for under two years. I can see how someone with an established business could take the program, make lots of tweaks and come out with an even better business, but it general I think you might be disappointed with the content. Not that it isn’t valuable, but it can be deceptively basic.

If you can go into it without the attitude of ‘I know this already’ and maintain that for the whole six weeks – you’ll definitely get something out of it. There is also a lot to do, and to get the most out of the course you do need to be keeping up with the content and engaging in the office hours calls – so be committed to doing that.

The community that everyone raves about IS amazing, but I found that it was only amazing for the ‘year’ I was in the course. The alumni community feels diluted, you don’t see those familiar faces anymore and it doesn’t feel as supportive – but if you really make the most of the experience you will come away with lifelong friends, clients and a support system for the rest of your business career.

The VA Vault is a great resource for someone starting out who needs resources for their VA business. It has a ton of content — contracts, spreadsheets, PDFs, that are useful when you are a VA. Miranda also does a monthly live video in the Facebook group where she answers questions based around a theme and does an amazing job of supporting her community. It’s a super low monthly cost, totally reasonable for a completely new Virtual Assistant. And just having that foundation of community and resource where you know you can find the answers when you are onboarding, looking for jobs, raising your rates, etc. is totally worth it.

I didn’t particularly find the course relevant to what I wanted – yet I had emailed them at length beforehand to check whether it was right for me.

A lot of promises were made including a tutor that would regularly check in with me even if I didn’t contact them to see how I was doing, and that if I didn’t see the results the course would be refunded.

Firstly the tutor never contacted me first, although they did reply to my emails. I tried to get through the course, but it just didn’t work for what I wanted. I requested a refund and was refused. I still get a lot of marketing emails from them, and recently contacted them again to express my disappointment, but was brushed off again. I found the course information quite vague and sometimes it felt pointless.

If you want gritty real information, I wouldn’t suggest this course personally.

I was very satisfied with the content of this course. It was exactly as advertised. I wasn’t able to attend the LIVE sessions so I couldn’t ask my questions as they came up, but along with the course comes access to a FB group where Julie, Jessie, and her team were able to help me. As well, I am able to refer back to the videos for as long as I need to. It ran slightly over the advertised 5 hours, and went over exactly what was claimed, along with some bonus info as people asked questions. In fact, now that I’ve gone through it and absorbed it, I’ll be doing it again to tweak my offer 🙂

I’m in the Digital Marketing world and there are SO MANY amazing courses…and SO MANY bad ones. My name is Julie, and I’m a Digital Marketer who is tired of fluff and sales antics that don’t accurately display what a course is meant to do EXACTLY.

I will be looking for people looking to write reviews on courses they’ve taken.
